The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects by overseeing on-site operations, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that all work complies with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting out of roads, sewers and structures. Setting up and maintain site control.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure materials and workmanship meet quality standards.
  • Work closely with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
  • Ensure that all site activities comply with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily progress reports, material deliveries, and inspection logs.
  • Assist in managing project budgets by monitoring material usage, labour costs, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide technical advice and solutions to site personnel and subcontractors as needed.
  • Attend in house meetings.


Qualifications:

  • HNC/HND Civil Engineering
  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
  • CSCS card
  • SSSTS
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
  • Driving Licence.


Must be living or willing to relocate to Inverness or local area.
