About our client:
Our client, with over 35 years of experience, is a UK-based company that specialises in removing particle contamination from various materials used in modern manufacturing processes. Their innovative technology has been widely adopted in industries such as PCB production, flat panel manufacturing, medical products, printing, and packaging.
The role:
As a Chemical Laboratory Technician, you will be based within our client's suite of labs, working alongside their existing laboratory staff. Your main responsibilities will include developing and testing new polymer/elastomer formulations and processing techniques, interpreting and presenting test data, and ensuring adherence to good laboratory practises and health and safety procedures. Attention to detail and the ability to follow set procedures are essential for success in this role.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a chemistry background, with an HNC or equivalent experience.
Industry experience within a commercial laboratory is essential.
Experience in analytical testing of materials is preferable.
Knowledge of good laboratory practises is essential, as well as experience in mixing liquids and powders and conducting physical testing.
