Dalkia UK have a fantastic opportunity for a National QSHE Advisor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Dalkia are a facilities management company. We are seeking a QSHE Advisor to provide support to our sites owned by our parent company and client EDF Energy, across various locations in the UK. This is a home-based national role with frequent travel which will include occasional overnight stays, to the sites as needed.
Hours of Work
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Provide competent and definitive QSHE advice, guidance and leadership to the Projects team
- Assist in actively improving QSHE standards across all EDF sites
- Advise on QSHE matters including changes to legislation or company standards
- Manage and carry out QSHE inspections on all project works across the contract
- Assist in maintaining project QSHE records as required
- Coach and mentor employees in QSHE induction programmes and other training required for projects
- Deliver briefings and presentations where necessary
- Participate in Health & Safety Codes of Safe Working and other Environmental issues to ensure total compliance with Dalkia Health, Safety and Environmental Policy.
- Make recommendations on matters concerning continuous improvement and “adding value” that may improve the productivity, costs, quality of service delivery etc.
Essential
- NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of all Health and Safety regulations with a specific focus on CDM regulations
Desirable
- NEBOSH Diploma or working towards
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate
- PTTLS
- Environmental Awareness
- Training experience
- Project work / general construction background
