Health and Safety Manager

Are you an operational Health and Safety professional and want to work within a highly successful and international company?
This Health and Safety Manager position will be leading a team of 2 Health and Safety Advisors within a very operational environment where the risks are incredibly varied. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the site Health and Safety Director and the wider business team who are incredibly supportive of one another.
There has been plenty of investment into the site and this Position to truly help develop HSE across the company.
The environment is extremely unique which will provide plenty of healthy challenges for you to over come within your HSE Career.
We would love to see CV’s from people who have:
A NEBOSH General Certificate
Experience within an operational HSE Environment (Manufacturing, FMCG, Logistics or Warehousing preferred)
Experience of working closely with operational teams
Experience of leading a HSE Team previously will be preferred As the Health and Safety Manager, you will be responsible for:
Working with the site operational team and implementing a proactive strategy to Health and Safety
Sitting on the senior leadership team and leading the direction of the Safety plan across the site
Coaching and mentoring people within the business on best safe practices
Creating policies and procedures for the site and taking them from a good level of safety to a great level
Leading the team of Health and Safety Advisors and helping them progress their own careers
Investigating accidents and investigations and working on a solution to reduce the risk of these reoccurring Why should you apply?:
