Waste Operative

Covering the M25 
ROLE SPECIFICATION:
The below points form a guide to the duties and responsibilities under this position, but flexibility will be required
Separate all recyclable and non-recyclable waste

Conduct all aspects of waste clearance & control both domestic and commercial

Attend offices and operational sites daily for collection/delivery of internal mail

Movement of office furniture and equipment on an ad hoc basis as required

Collection and delivery of company electronic equipment as directed by the IT Department

Ground keeping duties as and when required

Assisting movement, collection and delivery of company vehicles from numerous locations as directed by the Transport Manager

Completion of all waste transfer documentation
Additional information and guidelines relating to the duties:
Any problems encountered by should be reported to Waste Management Supervisor / Transport Manager and request for immediate assistance and guidance
QUALIFICATIONS
Full and valid driving licence. - Essential
Minimum 8 GCSE’s or equivalent, Grades A – C (including English & Math) - Desirable
HEALTH & SAFETY
Certificate of Asbestos Awareness Training - Essential
Certificate of Training Achievement for Working at Height, Manual Handling, First Aid, or other - Desirable
EXPERIENCE
Experience of working in a multi-sited company  - Essential
Experience of High Volume High pressure environments - Essential
Experience of working to tight deadlines - Desirable
KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS
Articulate and confident communication skills - Essential
Good road knowledge of inner London and surrounding areas - Essential
Able to work alone and within a team - Essential
Ability to work well and remain calm under pressure - Essential
