We have an exciting maternity cover position available for a talented individual at a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in North West London. This full-time role offers an immediate start, providing you with a chance to make a positive impact on the lives of students in need.
As an English teacher within a PRU, you will play a crucial role in supporting and inspiring students who require additional educational support. Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering engaging and tailored English lessons to meet the individual learning needs of students
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, fostering a love for English language and literature
Providing one-on-one or small group interventions to support student's progress and achievement
Collaborating with colleagues and support staff to create personalised learning plans
Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
Promoting positive behaviour management techniques and maintaining a safe and respectful classroom cultureThe PRU is a small school with a fantastic leadership team that is committed to providing the highest standard of education and support to its students.
