From planning lessons and preparing resources for designated programmes and modules to delivering engaging sessions and activities, our tutors are at the heart of the student experience.
It’s essential that you are conversant with current professional practices within your field of expertise. You will be educated to degree level and will ideally hold a recognised teaching qualification. If you have the attitude and desire to work in varied, dynamic environment and believe in an industry shaping vocational provision then you will play a key role in our success.
We pride ourselves on our flexible and innovative approach to Maths delivery to bespoke teaching and learning styles. We welcome experimentation and innovations in delivery methods and approaches and embrace both traditional and online teaching methods. We support delivery through the use of online platforms such as MathsWatch, Forskills, Corbett Maths and Pearson’s online systems such as Results Plus.
Our teachers typically deliver maths sessions over 24 hours per week with group sizes of 10 or less where possible. During administrative hours, we embrace hybrid-working practices by agreement with your line manager and work hard to ensure you can achieve an appropriate work/life balance.
