If so, we want you to join our warm and welcoming team as a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant at our vibrant school in Newham, London As a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant focusing on Boosters and Interventions, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our young learners.
Your main responsibility will be to provide targeted support to children who need a little extra help in reaching their academic goals. Working closely with class teachers and our SEN team, you will create and implement tailored intervention plans that cater to the individual needs of our students.
Application Requirements:
• A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their potential.
• Experience in a primary school setting, ideally within Key Stage 1.
• Familiarity with booster and intervention programs.
• A caring and empathetic approach to supporting children with special educational needs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to Key Stage 1 students, focusing on boosters and interventions.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored intervention programs that meet the individual needs of students.
• Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Support the inclusive ethos of the school by ensuring every child is given the opportunity to succeed.
