Our client is looking for a Marketing Associate to join their growing team.

About the Company
We are an owner-managed, independent specialty Lloyd’s Broker. Established in 2011, we specialise in working with regional and international broker-clients, MGAs and insurance agents in the placement of insurable risks and programs into the Lloyd's and London Market.

As a specialist Lloyd's Broker, we focus on Casualty risks across a range of industries. We deal with a full range of requirements from one-off risks to programs, binding authorities and reinsurance programs.

Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Marketing Associate . As a key member of our marketing department, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a creative and proactive approach to their role with the confidence and knowledge to add value across all elements of the marketing mix. With particular focus on design, content creation, direct marketing and social media (management, posting and evaluation).

You’ll be at the heart of the company and a key brand ambassador, supporting communications, events and other ad hoc promotional opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity where you will be working directly with the Group Marketing Manager in developing and executing the day-to-day marketing activities and the long-term marketing strategy for the business.

It is important that you have experience of and/or knowledge of marketing, can complete basic design work and are proficient in Adobe and Canva. It is essential you are familiar with the principles of publishing content, marketing analysis and marketing metrics and an excellent written communicator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content development - conceptualise and create visually appealing content for publishing various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and digital advertisements.
  • Lead design work - for core items of marketing collateral such as brochures, infographics, and presentations that align with brand guidelines.
  • Social media management – helping drive engagement and grow followers.
  • Content calendar management – maintain a monthly calendar of key marketing activities.
  • Brand development - assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Marketing analysis - monitor and analyse the performance of marketing efforts to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

Knowledge and experience
  • Bachelor's degree or experience in Marketing, Design, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, and independently in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to the success of marketing campaigns.
  • Portfolio showcasing design projects and creativity.
  • Proactive and entrepreneurial, able to spot opportunities and execute at pace.
