Our client, a global pharmaceutical company with innovative and exciting growth plan, they are currently looking for a Buyer to be part of their team.
As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in the procurement team. You will be responsible for sourcing and managing the procurement of pharmaceutical products and raw materials across multiple countries, ensuring timely and cost-effective supply to manufacturing sites and distribution centres.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies for multiple countries to ensure optimal supply chain efficiency
Negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and risk mitigation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to ensure seamless operations
Manage and analyse procurement data to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-makingRequirements
Educated to degree level in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or purchasing within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
Proficiency in procurement software and tools
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
