Planet Pharma have collaborated with a global pharmaceutical company who are currently seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Technician who will be supporting to deliver a high standard of mechanical and electrical services throughout the EKC business, within the estates engineering team. To plan and undertake routine scheduled maintenance of plant and/or equipment with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:nCarry out routine planned preventative maintenance as required within critical and non-critical environments.nThe closure of remedial and service requestsnWork is carried out in accordance with current regulations and safety standards.nMonitor BMS for running equipment and responding to alarm conditions.nInvestigate mechanical/electrical faults, identify root cause and corrective remedies.nAssist when and where required with installation work and small projects.nProvide support to other team members in accordance with experience and competencies.nTo ensure documentation required for statutory, H&S and GxP standards are completed and filed.nArrange contractor site inductions and enabling work to start safely.nPropose ideas/initiatives for continuous Improvement to streamline, increase efficiency or reduce cost.nAssessment of critical spares, reviewing supply and storage needs.

Requirements:nCity & Guilds electrical qualification or equivalent (BS7671 & C&G 2391)nCity & Guilds mechanical qualification or equivalentnEducated to ONC/HNCnEngineering experience in similar regulated environmentnGood awareness of Health and SafetynMulti-Skilled in Electrical/Mechanical EngineeringnExperience on steam boilers – blowdowns and water treatment.nVSD’s, motor controls and relay logicnDomestic and low temperature hot water systems.nAHU’s, FCU’s, chilled water and compressed air systemsnExperience of CMMS and BMS systems
