HGV Technicians needed in Crawley
My client is seeking skilled and dedicated HGV Technicians to join our family-run business in Crawley. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on a range of heavy goods vehicles (HGVs). Holding an MOT certificate is advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive repairs and maintenance on HGVs to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
Perform detailed diagnostics to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
Carry out routine servicing and inspections, adhering to manufacturer and industry standards.
Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including repairs, services, and diagnostics.
Ensure vehicles are compliant with current regulations and ready for MOT testing (MOT certification is a plus).
Collaborate with team members to manage workloads effectively and meet deadlines.Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in HGV maintenance and repair.
Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Holding an MOT certification is highly desirable.
Solid understanding of HGV systems and components.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Benefits:
