SEND Teaching Assistant - SEN Schools - Northwich Salary: £105 - £110 per day, paid weeklyContract: Full-time, long-term role with strong temp-to-perm potential Hirecracker Education are working with a range of Special Educational Needs schools in Northwich who are looking to expand their teams of SEN support staff. We are looking for caring and nurturing support staff to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and young people with complex care needs, profound and multiple learning difficulties, severe autism and disabilities. Chester's ONLY education supply agency headquartered in the heart of Chester Onrec Award Winners 24/7 access to our experienced, 5* Education Recruitment Consultants Competitive rates of pay, paid weekly Strong partnerships with SEN schools across Cheshire Fast, friendly, and supportive registration process What you'll be doing: Supporting pupils with autism in the classroom, adapting approaches to meet individual sensory, communication, and learning needs Delivering 1:1 or small group interventions focused on personalised learning, social skills, and emotional regulation Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development using positive reinforcement and consistent strategies Encouraging independence, self-confidence, and positive peer interactions through tailored support and guidance Helping maintain a calm, safe, and structured classroom environment that promotes focus, engagement, and inclusion Requirements: Experience working with children or young people in school, SEN, autism support, care, mental health, therapeutic, community settings or other relevant fields Good literacy and numeracy skills Understanding of autism-specific strategies, communication approaches, and sensory needs Ability to build positive, professional relationships with pupils, staff, and parents Patience, empathy, and resilience when supporting children with additional and complex needs Strong communication and organisational skills An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) How to Apply: If you're passionate about this position, please either apply by clicking online, emailing me directly or calling Laura on .
