A leading manufacturer of a range of interconnect applications for the military and aerospace industries, they are searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Canterbury, Kent.
As a Manufacturing Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring all components meet the highest quality standards within specified timeframes.
Responsibilities as a Manufacturing Engineer in Canterbury
Support product/design process into manufacture.
Access and maintain technical documentation using a PDM system.
Conduct risk analysis using DFMEAs, PFMEAs, APQP and capability studies.
Develop and implement methods and procedures for process control, improvement, testing and inspection.
Requirements as a Manufacturing Engineer in Canterbury
Experience supporting DFMEA/PFMEA.
Proficient in measuring equipment.
HNC or higher qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering.
Ability to read technical drawings and work with specification documents.
Competency in root cause analysis and 8D problem-solving.
