Project Director – Basildon £100,000–£150,000 + Executive Package Leading Main Contractor – Industrial Projects A leading UK main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee major industrial and large-scale commercial projects across the Basildon region. This senior leadership role is ideal for someone who has successfully delivered complex schemes from pre-construction through to completion. The Role: As Project Director, you will take full ownership of high-value industrial projects valued between £50m–£150m . You will drive project strategy, lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage clients and stakeholders, and ensure delivery on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of major industrial projects (£50m–£150m). Set project strategy, sequencing and governance from start to finish. Manage and mentor project teams to ensure consistent high performance. Drive excellence in safety, programme, quality and commercial outcomes. Act as the main client interface throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure compliance with all contractual, technical and regulatory requirements. Provide accurate and timely progress reporting to senior leadership. Support pre-construction, bid development and project planning activities. About You: Strong track record delivering large industrial or advanced manufacturing projects . Experience overseeing projects valued between £50m–£150m. Excellent leadership and people-management capability. Strong contractual, commercial and programme management skills. Confident client-facing communicator with the ability to influence and lead. Highly organised, strategic and delivery focused. Package Includes: £100,000–£150,000 salary (DOE) Car/allowance Bonus scheme Pension & private healthcare Additional executive benefits
