Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a speciality metals manufacturer to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their facility in Swadincote.
Salary- £53,000
Shifts- 4 on 4 off days and night
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the routine electrical maintenance of the plant, equipment and machinery, in a safe working environment in the most cost effective and efficient manner.
Other responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer will include:
Carry out work orders by the Planned Preventative Maintenance system 
Undertake diagnostic checks in machinery breakdown 
Complete timely and appropriate remedial work to return the plant to service. 
Identify any spare part requirements
Diagnosing breakdown problems
Install and commission to recognised standards any new or relocated equipment within the site.
To maintain up-to-date knowledge of available equipment
Liaise closely with supervisors, planning and line managers to ensure plans, priorities and problems are communicated effectively.
Provide cost saving exercises 
Maintaining electrical tools, stores and equipment; 
Assist in maintaining the quality control aspects of certification and production program schedules
Interface with and support other departments in developing continual improvement.
We are keen to speak with Electrical Maintenance Engineers who possess the following:
Electrically qualified with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
Ideally apprentice trained
Have experience within a manufacturing maintenance environment- ideally heavy industry
Experience with PPM’s and breakdowns
PLC fault finding
A sound working knowledge of modern pneumatic and hydraulic systems and components.
