Job Description
Are you an experienced and skilled Class 2 Tipper Driver looking for a new opportunity? We are currently seeking a reliable and dedicated driver to join one of our prestigious clients on a temporary to permanent basis. If you enjoy working independently, possess excellent driving skills, and have a passion for delivering exceptional service, then this role is perfect for you
Responsibilities:
* Operate a Class 2 tipper truck to transport materials, such as aggregates, sand, or gravel, to designated locations.
* Safely load and unload materials using the truck's tipping mechanism.
* Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed promptly.
* Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance or mechanical issues.
* Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and provide regular updates on delivery progress.
Shifts and pay
06:30am- 4:30pm
£14.35 per hour or £16.08 with holiday pay
Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 driver's license for a minimum of 2 years.
* Proven experience as a tipper truck driver for at least 2 years.
* Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
* Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
* Ability to navigate efficiently and plan routes effectively.
* Good physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy loads.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in paperwork.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
