Our client, is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team on a temp-perm basis. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a vital role within the finance team, supporting all members in day-to-day activities. Your attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the department.
Responsibilities:
Enter a high volume of invoices in multiple currencies and resolve any related queries for all suppliers.
Maintain the purchase ledger, ensuring the reconciliation of any aged balances, outstanding accruals, or prepayments.
Review and reconcile supplier credit card transactions on a daily basis.
Monthly reconciliation of supplier statement balances.
Maintain an electronic filing system.
Monitor the central mailbox as required.
Arrange payments for all suppliers in accordance with contracted payment terms, in various currencies.
Administration of the expenses system (Certify).
Handle ad-hoc tasks as requested.
Requirements:
Previous experience of 2-3 years in an Accounts Payable role, preferably dealing with high volumes and multi-currency transactions.
Ability to work well as part of a team and accurately follow instructions.
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
Effective time-management skills, with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
Flexible approach with a hands-on mentality.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
TEMP-PERM AFTER APPROXIMATELY 3 MONTHS, AFTER THIS PERIOD YOU WILL BE ABLE TO WORK ON A HYBRID BASIS
