Senior Software Developer, Backend - Remote PositionLocation:

About the Role:

Our client, a trailblazer in educational technology solutions, is seeking a skilled Senior Backend Software Developer to join their innovative team. Key Responsibilities:

Integration:

Seamlessly integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end teams with robust server-side logic.Development:

Create reusable code and libraries that drive future innovations.Optimization:

Ensure applications are optimized for speed, scalability, and security, incorporating robust data protection measures.Implementation:

Lead the design and implementation of new functionalities in web products, using test-driven development practices.Collaboration:

Work closely with testing teams to ensure comprehensive automated testing coverage.Innovation:

Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance development processes and product capabilities.Best Practices:

Contribute to establishing team best practices for delivering high-quality new code efficiently.Troubleshooting:

Diagnose, debug, and improve the performance of existing applications to ensure a superior user experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

Technical Expertise:

Proven experience in developing web services using Java or Go, with a strong foundation in data structures, concurrent programming, and distributed services.Methodologies:

Skilled in Agile software development methodologies, with hands-on experience deploying applications on Amazon Web Services.Development Practices:

Strong proficiency in continuous deployment pipelines and test-driven development, including writing and maintaining unit tests.Communication:

Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to propose solutions and influence technology choices.Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
