Aligra Recruitment is currently seeking a Car Valeter on behalf of our client, a reputable automotive company based in London. Our client is a family- run bodyshop with over 30 years of experience within the vehicle body repair industry. Over the years they have a built up an excellent reputation in the East London area and are run by skilled professionals in their field.
Responsibilities:
* You will be responsible for meeting vehicles on arrival at the site and greeting visitors, ensuring that Health & Safety and security procedures are followed at all times.
* Cleaning and washing cars to a high standard. This includes using a pressure washer, polishing, gel plastics, vacuuming interiors, cleaning glass, and blacking out tyres.
* You will need to have a keen eye for detail and be able to deliver a high-quality finish.
* In addition to cleaning cars, you will also be responsible for identifying and highlighting any vehicle faults or problems to management. This is important to ensure that any issues are addressed promptly and that the vehicles are in top condition for use.
* You will also be required to safely drive vehicles to and from various locations as required.
* It is essential that you maintain all equipment, such as jet washers and other materials used in the completion of the job and ensure that they are carefully maintained and secured.
Requirements:
* A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask during peak periods.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
* Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work in an organised and methodical manner.
* Driving Licence Required
