Your new company
You will be joining a company that specialises in retail design and architecture and has succeeded in having a growing portfolio of renowned clients and exciting projects. They are looking for an Architectural Technician that will play a key role in the development and execution of architectural projects from concept to completion.
Your new role
You will be working as an Architectural Assistant completing daily tasks such as:
Utilise industry-standard software packages such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Sketchup to generate detailed plans and drawings that accurately reflect design intent and meet project specifications.
Conduct thorough site surveys and assessments to gather essential data for project planning, identifying site-specific constraints and opportunities.
Collate and organise technical data and documentation to support project planning, implementation, and decision-making processes.
Evaluate design plans to identify potential risks and propose mitigating strategies to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
What you'll need to succeed
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Architectural Technology or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience with a focus on retail projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software applications.
Strong knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and detailing.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
