working collaboratively with other departments across the business to maximise the swim school and ensure we are offering an innovative programme of activities
that support and give back to the local community, that are delivered on time and within budget
Key Responsibilities include:Day-to-day management of swimming teachersCarrying out the deputy manager role when on duty management shifts.Achieve centre financial targets and KPIs, by maximizing Swim School occupancyAssisting with school swimming booking processesTrack, measure and report on the effectiveness of aquatic programmesMaintain a keen understanding of industry trends effecting wet side, making appropriate recommendations for strategic and tactical development.Deal with any H&S incidents, accidents, safeguarding concerns & report on the management system.About youTo be successful in this role, you will have a passion for swimming and the ability to influence and motivate staff. You will have experience working in wet operations ideally and be now looking to move into a senior or management position. Excellent communication skills and experience of leading a team in your career is also essential. Employment will be subject to an enhanced DBS check & reference checks.Qualifications RequiredIdeally hold, or be looking to attain a:Level 2 Swimming Teacher QualificationNational Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)First Aid at Work CertificatePool Plant Operation QualificationIn return Lampton Group will offer youFree parking at all Leisure Centre Sites22 days holiday allowance, plus bank holidaysFree
