Job Title: Quality assurance Manager
Salary: Up to £38k
Location: Bristol 
Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (Shift cover required to cover holiday only (Apply online only)/(Apply online only)pm )
Our client based in Bristol  are seeking to employ a Quality  Manager to start as soon as possible on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be an ambitious and enthusiastic individual with quality assurance experience looking to further develop their career in a food manufacturing environment.
Areas of responsibility:
Managing the QA assistant team including the rota and ensuring shifts are covered
Support the technical teams activity in ensuring compliance with the site FSQMS, any necessary audit standards and legal requirements
Support factory compliance with traceability requirements .
Manage and help maintain documents required to support FSQMS
Support the production of pack copies and finished product specifications
Manage calibration of equipment and ensuring these get completed in a timely manner
Be an active member of the site's HACCP team
Communicate effectively with production managers, supervisors, team leaders and operatives
Collate  KPI data for the technical department on a weekly basis for trend review
Collate  complaint information and support trend analysis
Arrange microbiological sampling, and analyse trends from results
Investigate trending issues, one-off concerns or opportunities for improvement through root cause analyses
Support factory compliance with FSQMS including managing and organising GMP and fabrication audits
Essential Skills :
Experience in FMCG/ Food  environment +5 years 
Have a good knowledge of BRCGS food standards  /HACCP L3/FSL3 
Understanding of  high risk food manufacturing  
Strong Excel knowledge and skills
Attention to detail - quality controlling
