Our client, a national civil engineering contractor within the waste water industry are looking to appoint an Intermediate Estimator to join their rapidly growing team in the Stoke.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Developing customer relationships, managing change and maximizing recovery on each contract.
* Liaising closely with operational staff to raising accurate EWN and CEs and subsequent timely agreement of quotations.
* Ensure Monthly applications and final accounts are prepared and submitted in accordance with contractual requirements.
* Monitor contract costs against agreed budgets and produce Monthly CVRs.
* Identify potential financial risk and evaluate options of mitigation.
* Identifying potential claims and opportunities and maximising the benefits to the Company
* Negotiation and placement of subcontract orders, and certification of payments.
Previous experience in an Estimating role for a civil engineering contractor preferred. Degree level qualified in related field essential.
Driving licence will also be required.
