*Doctors Direct* have an exciting opportunity for a *Speciality Doctor *to work with us in *General Adult* *Psychiatry, Enfield *on an inpatient ward.

Are you an enthusiastic and skilled Speciality Doctor looking for a progressive role at one of London’s newest Mental Health Partnership Trusts?

*Your key responsibilities will be to:*n* Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments for new admissions, including history-taking, mental state examination, and risk assessments.n* Formulate differential diagnoses and develop individualized treatment plans, in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT).n* Prescribe and adjust psychotropic medications, ensuring regular review of efficacy and side effects.n* Monitor and manage the physical health of psychiatric patients, working alongside general medical colleagues.n* Address psychiatric emergencies, such as suicidal ideation, self-harm, or acute psychosis, and manage these situations safely.n* Lead or contribute to ward rounds, reviewing patient progress, updating care plans, and facilitating patient discharges.
