Finance and Practice Manager

GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with well-established and recognisable Accountancy practice. We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Finance and Practice Manager to join the team in Pershore.
This position is working Monday – Friday, 8 hours a day between 08:00am – 18:00pm with an early finish of 14:30pm on a Friday. Salary on offer for this role is up to £50,000 pending relevant experience.
We are looking for an individual that can demonstrate the relevant ACA/ACCA qualifications and 2 years or more post qualification experience within an accountancy practice. This is essential criteria.
Finance & Practice Manager main duties:
* Overall management responsibility for the finance function.
* Production of monthly management accounts, KPI’s and other financial reports.
* Compliance with the ICAEW and other regulatory requirements.
* Providing commercial support to the teams across all the offices.
* Managing facilities, IT and HR.
* Managing and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
* Management of the sales ledger including direct debit collections and credit control.
* Expenses and disbursement management for the firm.
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
* Continued development internal systems and the practice database.
* Support with adhoc projects and the continued growth of the business.
Finance & Practice Manager required skills and experience:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified having trained in Practice.
* At least 2 years post qualification experience.
* Knowledge of Xero software.
* Positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience of report writing.
* Dedicated, enthusiastic, flexible and keen to learn.
* Willingness to travel.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Driving licence is essential
