Abatec are on the lookout for a Trainee Sign Fitter / Assembly Operative for our client based just outside Weston Super Mare. (Own transport is necessary due to the company’s location).
*
* Monday to Thursday 8 am – 4:45 pm and Friday 8:15 am – 3:30 pm
* No weekends
* Full time
* Progression and upskilling opportunities
Full training will be provided for the right candidate
The role will be mostly production work, so a flexible approach and eye for detail are key in making and fitting different forms of signage and digitally printed graphics. Training can be given to any candidate to help them achieve knowledge of printing, manufacturing, and installation.
Trainee sign fitting duties:
* Production and hands-on tools work
* Assembling and following engineering drawings
* Using a variety of hand/power tools
* Operating machinery
* Following all site health and safety
This is a full-time position with working hours Monday to Friday with occasional overtime.
