Q Are you an experienced Art & DT Teacher looking to secure a Head of Department position for September?

Q Are you confident in your subject knowledge as an Art & DT Teacher, and capable of delivering outstanding lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 & 5?

An Outstanding Secondary School in the London Borough of Haringey is looking to appoint a Head of Art & DT for a September start. The Head Teacher is looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Art & DT Teacher, as Head of Art & DT , who will have the aim of raising attainment, to lead the department.

Full time and permanent position - September start

  • FOR A HIGHLY EXPERIENCED CANDIDATE LEADERSHIP PAY SCALE IS AN OPTION
  • MPS3 UPS3 + TLR 2C

Located in the Borough of Haringey

PERSON SPECIFICATION Head of Art & DT

Must hold UK QTS

Strong academic background in GCSEs, A Levels and Degree

Ambitious and driven personality

Pro active approach

An advocate for your subject

Able to teach Art & DT to a high calibre, with KS5 teaching experience

Graded good or outstanding in recent lesson observations

Experience of leading a team or managing members of staff ideal
