Job Description:
JCMG Group IT Service Desk provides support for over 30 Car Dealerships throughout Scotland and over 1200 employees, utilising the latest technology this role has been created to expand the IT Team and provide a full training path for the chosen candidate into the Enterprise IT environment with a great career path to progress within a fast-growing company. You should have a basic understanding of PC Hardware/Software and be interested in developing a career in IT working towards SCQF Level 6.
A confident phone manner will be required to work on the Group Helpdesk and the ability to work under pressure dealing with high volume calls and support enquires. The successful candidate will hold a driving licence as site visits maybe required.
Key Requirements & Skills for IT Apprentice:
Trouble Shooting & Fault-Finding Skills
Ability to trace and identify system issues/problems
Help support Microsoft Windows Environments
Ability to work on own Initiative but within guidelines
Able to prioritise work based on business requirements
This nature of this role will involve out of hours support work
Candidate located in the Aberdeen Area
Driving Licence Essential
Full training will be provided in helping support the following technologies:
Outlook Email & Exchange Server
Antivirus Support, McAfee EPO Server
SPAM & Email Filtering (Barracuda & McAfee)
Microsoft Server Support & Active Directory Management & Support
PC & Laptop Builds
