Stanton House is partnering with a leading Transportation business to hire a Financial reporting manager in Aylesbury. This is an exciting opportunity within a fast paced, well established organisation where you shall gain exposure across financial reporting and provide vital information for key stakeholders.

Salary - up to 70,000 + bonus & wider benefitsnLocation – Marylebone 2 days a week & Aylesbury 1 day week (Hybrid working)

The role has a wide range of responsibilities across reporting, statutory accounting, management reporting and forecasting for a large P&L. The role will work closely with a wide variety of stakeholders as a member of the group function to communicate vital financial information to promote financial performance. This role reports directly into the Head Of Finance and has a clearly mapped out progression opportunities

In order to succeed in the role;nQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)nExperience in financial reporting and statutory accountingnExperience working with external AuditorsnBalance sheet reconciliation experiencenPrior Management experiencenStrong ability to use data and Excel alongside Financial systems e.g SAPnAbility to manage a range of stakeholdersnHigh attention to detail and good organisation skills

Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to;nAccurate consolidation and preparation of Statutory accountsnOwnership of the balance sheet and cashflownFinance systems development and process improvementnOwnership of relationship with External Auditors.nMonth end reporting and forecasting for GroupnDriving process improvements and automation, including being part of exciting future change activities.nPension accountingnStakeholder management - group & divisional and lots of interaction with FP&Anproject worknMonthly performance reporting
