So we're pleased to be recruiting for an Executive Assistant to join an established team and support our Deputy CEO in a job-share arrangement.

Working days: Wed, Thurs and Fri and on-site at NPL in Teddington.

As the leaders of our business, our Exec Team have many demands on their time. As you gain a thorough understanding of the operation and their needs, you’ll deliver the kind of personal and administrative assistance that allows them to perform at their best. Forging a strong working relationship with the Deputy CEO is essential as is observing a high level of confidentiality as you support them in a fast-moving, decision-making environment.

The role requires you to interpret and anticipate priorities, manage their Inbox and Calendar and prioritise the demands on their time according to their objectives to facilitate prompt decision-making. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels is a pre-requisite to co-ordinate activity on behalf of the Deputy CEO. In addition, you will be required to prepare presentations, carry out research, take minutes and prepare briefings as required.

You will be working with and alongside a team of executive assistants and need to have the flexibility to support the team as they will support you with a positive mindset and a focus on delivering to the highest standards.

Significant experience of handling exec-level affairs
Able to anticipate needs, take initiative and make sound judgement calls
Well organised with day to day planning
Along with excellent IT and communication skills, you’re always willing to go the extra distance and enjoy working as part of a team of Executive Assistants.
