Junior Accountant

We are a sustainable infrastructure company with a majority of our business in renewable energy assets. We complement our portfolio of renewable assets with storage, efficient natural gas, and transmission infrastructure assets, as enablers of the transition towards a clean energy mix. We are also present in water infrastructure assets, a sector at the core of sustainable development.

Our purpose is to support the transition towards a more sustainable world by investing in and managing sustainable infrastructure, while creating long-term value for our investors and the rest of our stakeholders.

We currently own or have an interest in a portfolio of diversified assets in terms of business sector and geographic footprint. Our portfolio consists of 40 assets with 2,048 MW of aggregate renewable energy installed generation capacity (of which approximately 72% is solar), 343 MW of efficient natural gas-fired power generation capacity, 55MWt of district heating capacity, 1,229 miles of electric transmission lines and 17.5 M ft3 per day of water desalination.

We own and manage operating facilities throughout the North America, South America and EMEA regions. We are currently seeking for a Junior Accountant to work with and strengthen our Corporate Administration Department team.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, review and support monthly accounting closures.
• Reconciliation of inter-company balances.
• Preparation and delivering of accurate monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting package to be audited and filed with the SEC.
• Assist internal & external audit, statutory and regulatory returns to ensure compliance.
• Preparation and analysis of monthly and annual tax compliance.
• Provide assistance to local tax review.
• Preparation of the Financial Statements according with accounting regulations.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in any Business, Accounting, Finance or Economical Administration related field.

Personal Skills

• Desirable to have and advanced level in Spanish (B2-C1).
• Great interpersonal and communication skills-both oral and written-.
• A self-motivated, proactive, and independent thinker that shows initiative.
• Orientation to actions and results. Enthusiastic, constant, and disciplined person.
• Ability to understand and act upon feedback.
• Collaborative and inclusive mindset

Technical Qualifications

• Experience of 1 to 3 years in an accounting-related department (i.e., Accounting, External or Internal Audit ,etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (advanced Excel is a must ).
• Desirable SAP Know-how.
