Randstad Construction, Property & Engineering are recruiting for a Technical Facilities Manager with ideally a mechanical or electrical bias for a leading FM client. The role is based in the Ayrshire, with some travel and hybrid working.
As a Technical Facilities Manager you will be managing a large team of multi skilled engineers working on well known hospitality and retail contracts. Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on gas systems, small installation projects, servicing and repairs.
Package:
Competitive salary up to £50,000 (depending on experience)
Overtime available
Core hours Monday to Friday (40 hour week)

Training and development coursesRole objectives:
Provide technical support and guidance on the telephone to engineers out in the field.
Interact between administration team, management team and regional engineering team to disseminate information into the field.
Monitor engineers and promote best practice in health and safety, engineering and customer care.

Ensure a professional image of the client is presented to clients and visitors and ensure excellence in customer service is always delivered and promoted.
To liaise with client staff to determine requirements and to promote continuous improvement works and project related activity.Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning.Qualifications:
Technically qualified to at least City & Guilds level/ UK Level 3 NVQ in relevant electrical disciplines or time-served with suitable experience
Relevant H&S qualification
GCSE (or 'O' Level equivalent) passes in Math's and English or recognised equivalent
Ability to interface with people including customer staff at all levels
Demonstrable experience and knowledge of working within the Industrial and Commercial sectors
Demonstrable experience and knowledge of HVAC systems
Ability to read and understand schematic and wiring diagrams
