Key Responsibilities:
Project Manager for all aspects of Mechanical Installations and delivery of the Project
* Estimating experience
* Procurement
* Subcontractor Management of Plumbing, Heating, Ventilation, Electrical, BMS Control, Medical Gases, Fire Detection Systems, Chilled Water and Air Conditioning to Commissioning Stage
* Undertake Site Surveys
* D&B collaboration with Mechanical Design Consultants and Architects establishing Client’s requirements
* Health & Safety
* CDM Regulations
* Attend meetings with Clients and Consultants pre-tender and post tender
* Attend Departmental Management Meetings
* Issue Mechanical Installation progress reports
* Allocate labour to Projects
* Drawing Take offs
* Stock Control and Hiring of equipment
* Issue RAMS
* Monitor Installation for compliance with specifications
* Compile O&M info within data base files
* Responsible for direct Labour
* Monitoring of Gas Safe Compliance
* Coordination of M&E Services cross referencing Architectural drawings
Candidate Requirements:
* Strong management skills with the ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.
* Excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and leadership qualities.
* Previous experience in UK construction market is essential
* Relevant mechanical qualifications and a background in construction
