Salary: £25,740 per year plus benefits 
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a shift rota basis

We are on the lookout for a Senior Support Worker who is calm, patient, and resilient. You will need to have a consistent approach to encouraging the people we support to engage in the interests they love.
Furthermore, as Senior Support Worker you will: 
You'll be a strong team player with the ability to lead by example, being professional, patient and calm under pressure with experience of providing extraordinary support
You'll supervise daily outputs and assist the deputy manager in managing staff performance, development and appraisals
You'll have A QCF in Health & Social Care level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) with willingness to undertake a level 3 in Health & Social Care and demonstrate reasonable knowledge of regulatory standards for supported/residential living.
Takepersonal responsibility for the quality of care and assistance delivered to the people you will care for
Help the people you will assist plan towards and achieve both short and long term aims
Plan and be in favour of activities, such as vacations, learning and social engagements always being creative and exploring new opportunities 
Ensure the people, you will assist and their families, are treated with respect, dignity, and equality
Work in accordance with SeeAbility’s values
We are looking for the people with the right attitude, who has an open mind, forward-thinking and a sense of humour. You will be available to work 37.5 hours a week working a series of early shifts 7.00am to 3.00pm, late shifts 2.00pm to 10.00pm, and every other weekend. This will be on a shift rota basis that is given to you in advance.

At The Willows the people we support have varying levels of learning disabilities and visual impairment. We provide support for additional needs, including wheelchair users from various physical disabilities, diabetes, heart issues, mental health problems, dual sensory loss, kidney disease and management of cancer. Experience in any of these would be highly advantageous.
