The role

We are looking for a service desk engineer to join our technology team based at our distribution centre in Larkfield, Kent. The service desk engineer supports all things IT and is responsible for keeping the location online and operational.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work closely with the infrastructure teams as well as other IT functions. You will be required to support users face-to-face and via telephone using tools such as LogMeIn/CyberArk, to name a few. Excellent knowledge of POS hardware, PC’s and MS operating systems is key for this role. You’ll be ordering replacement equipment when needed directly from vendors, ensuring that it arrives as planned and then supporting staff through the transition. You’ll arrange the return of any faulty kit and ensure it is fixed so it can go back into circulation within the business.

About the team


Our distribution centre is the bridge between our brand and our amazing customers and partners. Based in Larkfield, Kent it is the hub for the supply and delivery of our products across our global business. In this role you will report to the service desk manager.

What will I be doing?

  • Supporting the infrastructure in the distribution centre including printers, hand held scanners, desktops, WAN and LAN
  • Fixing faulty IT kit/equipment
  • Supporting users face-to-face and also via telephone using tools such as LMI/RDP
  • Occasionally providing remote EPOS global support to AllSaints stores and offices
  • Working at pace to achieve timescales identified in the service level agreement
  • Responsible for monitoring core networks and alerting infrastructure teams to any incidents
  • Working with IT operations and department leaders as well as other staff members/3rd parties in the event of an IT incident occurring.
  • Ensuring data integrity is maintained
  • Manage IT incidents when necessary to ensure resolution, keeping stakeholders notified of details and progress throughout
  • Occasional travel to other AllSaints locations (stores and offices)

ABOUT THE LOCATION

Our Distribution Centre is based in Larkfield, Kent. We have approximately 150 employees working acorss Logisitics, Shipping, Warehouse Operations and Store Design. DC Location . Approximately a 4 minute drive from New Hythe rail station.
