A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ‘Assistant Management Accountant’ to join our wonderful team

The hotel accounts team are based in our offices at Casa and look after both of our venues. With continuous communication with the hospitality teams our accountants can ensure smooth running of the financial processes, assist colleagues with regular profit and loss reports and help the business excel.

Responsibilities in the role would be:nAssist in the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts. (Hotels)nPreparation of draft Management Accounts. (Other smaller businesses)nReconciliation of Control Accounts. (Bank, Inter Company, Debtors and Creditors)nMaintaining and reconciliation of Fixed Asset Register’s.nPreparation and Posting of Journals. (Depreciation, Payroll, Accruals and Prepayments)nBudget v Actual and Prior Year variance analysis.nAssist in the Preparation of VAT ReturnsnMaintain Analysis of KPI’s and investigate variances.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications:nGood working knowledge of Sage 50 is essential.nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, intermediate level Excel skills.nGood working knowledge of retrieving Finance Data from Operational systems.nAt least 3 years experience of working in a Finance Team.nCIMA/ACCA studier or AAT qualified Level 4nStrong communication skills and a Team player.nCommitted, self-motivated and highly organised individual.
