The Company
As a leading designer, manufacturer and commissioning specialist, this well established and growing manufacturing Automation solutions provider is now expanding to meet the demand within their global customer market. They have a world class team, class leading next generation automation solutions and are set to grow exponentially over the coming three to five years.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Advanced Process Design Engineer will be a key member of the up-front solutions design team and will be responsible to develop assembly line processes and lead the preliminary layout of the process solution to meet the customers' requirements. You will be responsible for conceptualising, defining, and working out how a particular product will be assembled / manufactured on a production line taking into account the customer needs around quality, production rate and level of investment.
The Person
With a proven background in Process Design, Process Optimisation and Automation / Robotic solutions, the process engineer will be the solutions spearhead for the organisation on incoming new customer projects. CAD Skills and proven knowledge of process simulations around core manufacturing technologies such as; assembly, welding, riveting, bonding etc would be highly advantageous. The ability to travel and visit customers and suppliers will be required as will an innovative solutions driven mindset.
