French & Spanish Teacher

TeacherActive are working with a secondary school in Medway that are recruiting for an MFL teacher for the new Academic year (September 20204). This is an inclusive educational institution committed to providing a nurturing environment where students can thrive academically and personally.  
Position Overview: TeacherActive are seeking a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher specialising in French and Spanish to join this vibrant team. The successful candidate will inspire and motivate students to develop their language skills while fostering an appreciation for French and Spanish culture. 
Key Responsibilities: 
Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons in French and Spanish to students across various year groups and abilities. 
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to actively participate in language learning. 
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities. 
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development. 
Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching materials and resources. 
Organise and participate in extracurricular language activities and events to enhance students' language learning experience. 
Requirements: 
Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent. 
Specialism in French and Spanish, with a strong command of both languages. 
Experience teaching MFL at the secondary level, with a proven track record of helping students achieve excellent results. 
Passion for language teaching and a commitment to inspiring students to become confident and proficient language learners. 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents. 
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
