The Role and the Team  

As a People Business Partner, you'll work in close partnership with your designated business area, collaborating with management teams, providing comprehensive, best in class people support, and driving the overall people strategy, aligned with wider strategic objectives. You’ll serve as a trusted and credible People Business Partner to leaders and colleagues, developing and implementing strategies to support talent management, employee engagement, performance management, reward and recognition and contribute significantly to building a thriving culture.

You’ll also lead and execute on various projects and workstreams aligned with the wider people strategy.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement people strategies for your designated business areas that are intrinsically linked to both departmental and overall business objectives (In collaboration with the People Director and the wider SLT - senior leadership team)
  • Act as a strategic partner and advisor, offering guidance and support in various HR domains, including talent management, employee development, performance management, reward and recognition, engagement/culture, employee relations and internal communications
  • Collaborate with the SLT to create and implement workforce plans and strategies that align with business objectives and promote a high performing, engaged workforce
  • Provide guidance and expertise in the areas of employee retention, talent acquisition, succession planning, and onboarding
  • In collaboration with the Learning and Development team, drive a high-performance culture through the performance management process, ensuring clear goal setting, timely feedback, and effective performance discussions supported by appropriate HR tools and resources
  • Implement and ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations while fostering an inclusive and respectful work environment
  • Ensure all people matters are conducted ethically and in alignment with the company core values establishing strategies to ensure fair treatment and resolution of conflicts
  • Leverage and integrate HR technology tools for analytics, employee engagement, and performance management
  • Analyse HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop appropriate strategies to address them
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other HR centres of expertise such as Learning and Development and Talent Acquisition to deliver solutions and initiatives that support the broader People strategy
  • Stay up to date with changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure business compliance and proactively advise on potential impacts on HR practices

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Senior People Partner/HRBP from a growing technology company where you have the People generalist learnings to share
  • Demonstrable comprehensive knowledge across all the people disciplines and best practice, with sufficient depth in reward and recognition, talent/performance management, driving a performance led culture and engagement
  • Strong experience of working with senior leaders with proven communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to build strong partnering relationships with stakeholders independently and to lead / mentor the people team as required
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply data-driven insights to drive decision-making
  • Solid understanding of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities independently, deliver results and adapt in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand and align people initiatives with strategic business objectives, bringing your people team colleagues with you
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite
