Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SQL Analyst / Developer to join our Business Intelligence (BI) Solutions team.nThis team is responsible fornand enhancing the business’s lead management and CRM capabilitiesnBI analysts with accurate and relevant application datanbusiness insights and predictive models developed by the BI team into self-optimising, productionised systems within the wider business.nThe ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines and queries to extract complex datasets needed for our business intelligence and reporting needs.nAdditionally, the candidate will be involved in writing production-level code to support the organisation’s various CRM and lead-management applications and systems.nKey Responsibilities:n1. Data Extraction and Transformation:nDesign and develop data pipelines and queries, for efficient data extraction and transformation.nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure accurate and timely delivery of BI solutions.n2. Business Intelligence:nWork closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather BI requirements and translate them into technical specifications.nDevelopment and maintenance of complex datasets needed for reports, dashboards, and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI or similarn3. Production Code Development:nWrite and maintain production-level code to support lead management and CRM applications and systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.nCollaborate with software developers to integrate SQL components seamlessly into applications.n4. Performance Tuning and Support:nMonitor and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and inefficiencies.nConduct regular reviews of SQL code and queries for performance improvements
Qualifications
Qualifications:nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.nProven experience as a SQL Analyst / Developer with a focus on BI and production-level code.nStrong proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)nKnowledge of software development best practices and ability to write production-level performant SQL code.nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.nStrong communication and collaboration skills.nMust be happy to commute to our head office in Windsor, Berkshire at least once a week.nPreferred Skills:nKnowledge of data modeling and database design principles.nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).nProgramming skills in languages such as C# or PythonnExperience with version control systems (e.g., Git).nIf you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for data and code, and you thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity to contribute to our Business Intelligence and development initiatives.
