Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Banking Associate specialising in Mergers & Acquisitions to join growing London team. This role will focus specifically on the infrastructure or industrials sector, where you will play a pivotal role in executing complex transactions, providing strategic insights, and driving value for our clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough financial analysis, including valuation modelling, financial statement analysis, and company benchmarking within the infrastructure sector.
  • Assisting in the execution of M&A transactions, including due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation support.
  • Conducting industry research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential investment opportunities.
  • Collaborating closely with senior bankers and other team members to develop client presentations, pitch materials, and marketing documents.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, investors, and other key stakeholders within the infrastructure sector.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A transactions within the infrastructure sector.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to various stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
