Role Overview: As a Cover Teacher, you will step in to deliver lessons in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. Your responsibilities may include supervising classes, delivering pre-prepared lesson plans, managing student behavior, and ensuring a positive and productive learning environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across different subjects and year groups while making a meaningful impact on students' educational journeys.
Requirements:
A degree in Education or relevant subject area
Strong classroom management skills
Adaptability and flexibility to teach a range of subjects and year groups
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage and motivate students in a variety of learning environments
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
Must live within 30 minutes of Croydon
