The below job description will outline this position of: Process Safety Engineer
Typically, this person will travel across various sites in the UK and overseas, providing process safety support to different business sites.
HSB Technical’s client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.
Duties and responsibilities of the Process Safety Engineer:
• Design and deliver training as and when appropriate for staff, management and 3rd party partners.
• Produce reports on HSSE performance data from sources like the Velocity EHS database and present this information to stakeholders.
• Complete HSSEQ tender evaluations for contracts awards.
• Complete various assessments such as Hazardous Area Classification assessments/DSEAR assessments, Human factor (HRA) assessments, Occupied Building Risk Assessments (OBRAs) / Credible Fire Scenario assessments, etc
• Help to develop and maintain COMAH safety reports for all sites/assets.
Qualifications and requirement for the Process Safety Engineer:
• Full UK drivers License.
• Engineering graduate with DSEAR experience.
• 5 years experience in a high risk industry.
• Willing to travel all across the UK as well as be open to travel oversees.
