PRINCIPAL STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - PERMANENT – SURREY
Our Client, an offshore oil and gas contractor, is currently looking for an experienced Principal Structural Engineer with a bias in detailed design to join the offshore wind engineering team. You will be joining a global leader in engineering, procurement, construction, and installation services for the energy industry. With a strong track record of successful projects and a commitment to excellence, Our Client strives to deliver innovative solutions to their clients.
Sc in Civil/Structural Engineering
Relevant offshore energy industry experience with a proven track record of delivering high quality Structural Engineering. Experience with offshore wind or offshore installations (subsea is not relevant). Ability to apply engineering principals to solve challenging problems and to work effectively within a small team. Good command of written and verbal English.
Software:
MS Excel and hand calculations.
Review/comment and approve Structural drawings for steel structures based upon Engineering Design.
Prepare high quality Design Reports and maintain records in accordance with Department Operating Procedures.
Ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with Our Client’s policy on health, safety, quality, and environmental matters in accordance with Our Client’s specific procedures.
Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Start ASAP.
