Role: Group Accountant
Location: Farnham - Hampshire (Hybrid)
Salary: £52,500
The business is in an FMCG industry, supplying products business-to-business. You would be working in a friendly and focused team, in an encouraging environment for the right person. You will have the chance to take ownership of your work, with a supportive CFO who is keen on developing staff without micro-managing.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with the CFO to enhance or introduce new monthly management reporting at the group level, utilizing Xero and Syft Analytics. Aid the Financial Control function by:
- Conducting ledger clean-ups and maintaining updated financial year-end trial balances in alignment with Statutory Accounts.
- Ensuring ongoing ledger maintenance in Xero.
- Assisting the CFO with various projects as necessary.
- Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany reconciliations.
- Implementing and reporting weekly/monthly KPIs such as closing stock figures, units ordered and scrapped, and operational profitability analysis.
- Coordinating with international finance/accounting counterparts to ensure timely receipt of financial data.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience overall in Accounting & Finance
- We will consider both CCAB (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA) qualified as well as QBE and AAT with relevant semi-senior experience. If QBE or AAT, must have a minimum of 7 years’ experience.
- Experience with FMCG
