An exceptionally busy manufacturing business is seeking an established, high-end CNC Miller to join the team due to rapid growth.
CNC Miller Responsibilities
Develop CNC Milling programs & tooling.
Set and operate machines as required.
Ability to programme would be considered a distinct advantage
Identify new techniques and processes.
Read and understand mechanical drawings.
Identify the most cost-effective batch manufacture method.
Machine “Right First Time” components for use.
Develop designs with engineers when required.
Work with engineers to resolve problems.
Record work duration and timesheets.
Actively participate in quality system and documentation.
CNC Miller Profile
Proven record in CNC machine operation and programming using machine and offline CAM methods.
Knowledge of Mazatrol controls.
Knowledge of Edgecam software will be an advantage.
5 years + experience
City & Guilds, NVQ Mechanical engineering level 2/3, time served or similar qualification
