Are you an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver looking for a rewarding opportunity? DCV Technologies are looking for someone to join a family-owned chemical manufacturing company based in Essex and be a vital part of our reliable and dependable service. We supply over 1 million tonnes of specialist chemicals in bulk to various industries, including water treatment, galvanizers, food manufacturers, detergent manufacturers, and more who prioritize health and safety, vehicle and driver compliance, and we are seeking a skilled and safety-minded individual.
Key Responsibilities:
· Safely and efficiently transport specialist chemicals in bulk to our valued customers
· Ensure compliance with ADR
· Demonstrate good knowledge of geography and the UK road networks
· Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
· Uphold our commitment to health and safety standards
· Nights out are a fundamental part of this role (paid @ £40 per night out which is taxable) and are contracted as “as and when required” by the Company (anything from 0-5 nights out per week)
Key Qualifications:
Class 1 HGV License
ADR Qualification - Class 8 in Tanks required
Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) card
Valid Driver Card
Maximum of 6 points on your driving license
Benefits Package:
· Shifted Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend requirements (overtime paid at £19.82 per hour on overtime shifts)
