Shawthorpe are seeking a Electrical Design Manager to join one of our prestigious clients based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
Job Purpose
You will be responsible to deliver electrical design and work packages, contributing to the successful delivery of projects to the business.
Duties / Responsibilities
You will be developing, maintaining and improving powered design processes and the procedures to ensure compliance
Hold and nurture great relationships with supplier and sub contractors, ensuring high quality resource
Support the manufacturing management and supervising the processes, standards and methologies are aligned across the two departments
Responsible for recruiting Electrical Engineers, and hardware design engineers to fulfil the demands of the organization
Lead and coach a small team of Electrical Engineers.
Maintain internal standards and best practices
Work along side project managers and Business development to make sure delivery plans and projects are in place, and provide pre sale technical support
Key Skills / Ability / Experience
Experienced in Electrical Control Systems
Experienced within management and technical projects
Hold a BEng in Electrical Engineering as a minimum
Working Hours
Permanent / Full Time
Option to work Hybrid

This role will be reporting to Director, and will be contributing the the delivery of projects across the business whilst collaborating between departments for a smooth customer experience.
