The Company:
A Leicestershire based specialist in the quarry and construction industry are looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join their team.
The Candidate:
Minimum 12 months experience working in a Manufacturing or Construction.
Have access to own tools to use alongside company tools.
Demonstrate knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Be flexible and willing to work as part of a team.
Good level of fitness, (heavy lifting involved.)
Able to work in all weather in an outdoor environment.
Demonstrate good time management and project management skills.
The Mechanical Fitter Role:
Supporting the senior fitting team, the role will predominantly be servicing and repairing machinery and new plant equipment:
Identifing hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair; to ensure compliance with agreed codes, laws, working practices and health and safety.
Site preparation and clearance, and maintaining general site tidiness - assisting in maintaining site security.
Ensure compliance with agreed codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety.
Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including those relating to hygiene, respect for other team members, time keeping and flexibility.
